1. Install Keil MDK from KeilMDK538a.exe
2. If you need ArmCompiler5 then the easiest way is to install Keil 5.36 and then update it using this installer
In that case compiler will be automatically installed in ARMARMCC and registered in Keil IDE
Or install compiler manually from ArmCompiler5Last.msi and manually configure Keil to use it
You can do that in Project->Manage->»Project Items» and on second tab, on the right of «Use ARM Compiler»
use «…» to add folder where you installed ArmCompiler5Last-compiler
3. Run Keil and copy from menu «File->License Management» Keil-ID of your computer
from field «CID» (on first tab «Single-User License»)
4. If you do not see KeilMDK5Keygen.exe file then it was silently removed by antivirus
Unpack KeilMDK5Keygen.exe from «KeilMDK5Keygen.7z» using password «keil»
7z-archive with password is used to make sure that antiviruses would not silently
delete «KeilMDK5Keygen.exe» without you even noticing this action
This could happen if your antivirus classify this keygen as «unwanted» software on your computer and silently delete it 😉
If your antivirus is deleting KeilMDK5Keygen.exe even right after unpacking it then temporary disable your antivirus software
5. Run «KeilMDK5Keygen.exe» and paste Keil-ID of your computer to field «CID»
6. Select Target «ARM»
7. Select edition of MDK «MDK Professional» (or whatever you need)
8. Generate key with «Generate» and copy it
9. In KeilMDK menu «File->License Management» paste key in field «New License ID Code»
and apply it with «Add LIC»
You can add several keys same way (steps 4-7) if you want
